Write for Us
Write for Wisdomjobs.com Official Blog
Wisdomjobs.com Official Blog is read by job seekers, working professionals, recruiters and hiring managers who want plain answers about work. Some are looking for their first job. Others are weighing an offer, moving into management, or hiring a team of their own. They come here for practical advice they can use the same week, not theory.
If you write for us, your work reaches people who are actively making career decisions. A useful piece can be picked up by a reader in the middle of a job hunt, passed to a colleague, or returned to months later. That is the value of a guest post here: it stays up, it stays findable, and it speaks to an audience that is already paying attention to the subject.
What we publish
- Job search tactics: applications, CVs, cover letters, interviews and follow-ups.
- Career development: promotions, salary talks, switching industries, returning after a break.
- Workplace matters: managing teams, remote and hybrid work, appraisals, difficult colleagues.
- Hiring and recruitment: screening, onboarding, interview design, candidate experience.
- Skills and learning: certifications, short courses, tools that help people do their jobs better.
- Sector notes: what is changing in specific industries and what it means for the people working in them.
Guest posts and sponsored articles
We accept contributed editorial and paid placements. If you want to submit an article as an unpaid contributor, we consider it on the same terms as any other pitch. If you are looking for a sponsored post, we mark it as sponsored where disclosure is required, and we keep the subject matter relevant to our readers.
Posts are permanent and indexed. Editorial links are dofollow. Sponsored placements follow our own rules on disclosure and relevance. Pricing is available on request, and our usual turnaround is 3 to 5 working days from acceptance of a final draft. If you are unsure which route suits your piece, ask us before you write.
Guidelines
- Original and unpublished work only. We do not republish pieces that have appeared elsewhere.
- 800 words or more. Longer is fine if the subject carries it.
- One or two relevant links. No link stuffing and no unrelated promotions.
- Nothing illegal; gambling, adult and pharmaceutical subjects are considered case by case and must be relevant to our readers.
- An author bio is optional. If you send one, keep it to two or three lines.
- We edit for house style, clarity and length. We will not change your argument.
These contributor guidelines apply to every pitch we accept, whether it arrives as a finished draft or an idea. Read a few recent posts before you write so you know the tone we use.
How to pitch
Email guestpost@wisdomjobs.com with the subject line "Guest post: <topic>". Include a short outline of what you plan to cover, roughly how long it will be, and a link to past work so we can see how you write. If the idea fits, we will reply with a yes, a few notes, and a date. If it does not, we will tell you quickly so you can place it elsewhere. You can also use the mailto link: guestpost@wisdomjobs.com.
Send everything to guestpost@wisdomjobs.com. Pitches, drafts, questions about sponsored placements and requests for pricing all go to the same address, and we read every one.
